Epic Change helps hopeful people in need share their stories to acquire resources that will improve their lives.
Each gift we sell incorporates the personal story of someone whose life will be directly impacted by your purchase. In addition, by sharing their stories, artwork and photos, our local partners directly inspire and collaborate in the design of each product.
Our current project is the expansion of a primary school in Tanzania. The school's founder, Mama Lucy Kamptoni, used to sell chickens. She saved her income and, in 2003, used it to start a primary school near her home in Tanzania, believing that education is the key to transforming a country gripped by poverty. Now, hundreds of amazing children from local villages attend Mama Lucy’s school – aspiring doctors, teachers and astronauts – each of them inspired by her to change the world. Mama Lucy’s name is derived from a word that means “shine”. She does, and by purchasing Epic Change gifts and cards, you’re helping to expand her school, and shine her light into the lives of even more children.
